Astor Pear Cider

This bottle of cider will get the royal remedy adorn with gold and ornamental thrives. Designed by studio Fanakalo, the pear fermented beverage is corked like champagne and wrapped with a black and gold label with a central give attention to the brand entangled in a grapevine.

“Astor pear cider is partly constructed from the oldest surviving pear orchard within the Cape. Ever since Jan van Riebeek first planted fruit timber within the firm gardens, pears have been grown on the Cape. As many as 200 000 fruit timber have been planted on the perfect farms within the Franschhoek valley, on the instigation of Cecil John Rhodes and HEV Pickstone. Solms-Delta served as their nursery.

The best pears are crushed, fermented and infused with a contact of hops, leading to a refreshing alcoholic beverage that’s craft to the core.”
