The Dieline Awards 2015: third Place Know-how, Media, Workplace, Self-Promotion- Adobe Ink and Slide

Since 1982, Adobe has constructed a fame for creating world-class multimedia and artistic software program merchandise. In July 2014, Adobe broke with custom and launched its first ever hardware product–Ink & Slide. Ink is a strain-delicate stylus and Slide is a complementary digital ruler used to precisely draw geometric shapes and features. Adobe reached out to Character with the enviable activity of creating the Ink & Slide retail packaging system.

Character labored with the Adobe workforce to develop a packaging program that helps Adobe’s new greatest-in-class artistic hardware. The design answer wanted to be inspirational and related for Adobe’s “Premier and Aspiring” designers in addition to ship the expressiveness and innovation of the Adobe model expertise.

The ultimate packaging design is an easy, hinged-field answer which displays the expressive character and progressive attributes of the Adobe model. Ink & Slide sit proud and cantilevered from a customized-dyed paper pulp tray. Their order and presentation reinforce Ink & Slide’s easy setup and a “decide-up and go” design technique. The field encompasses a reveal between the lid and base which permits Adobe’s signature colour spectrum to face out towards a restrained, predominately white visible aesthetic.

Character labored with Uneka Ideas on the engineering and manufacturing elements of the challenge. Uneka’s staff delivered a premium, excessive-constancy packaging answer that glad all the structural and environmental necessities.
