Arrels, by Hey

Arrels identity

Using sample in branding can typically be uninteresting and forgettable.

This one, for Spanish footwear model Arrels, is the other (though the web site does not do it justice, which is a disgrace).

The id (not the web site) was designed by Barcelona-based mostly Hey.

“Creating the id meant discovering the suitable stability between [Arrels’] city look and their rural roots and between being handmade and mass-produced.

“This duality is mirrored within the two colors of the id and within the sample created for the packing containers and the footwear; an concept which was carried over to the brochure.

“The design of the sample performs with the concept in the event you have been to tear up all of the layers of concrete which cowl the city panorama, beneath you’d discover the unique, pure floor of the earth.”

A pleasant instance of an id the place you possibly can remove the logo and still know the brand.
