The Worldwide Flag of Planet Earth

I loved this animated perception (under) into the development of Oskar Pernefeldt’s International Flag of Planet Earth.

Animated by Johan Fredriksson, a designer at Forsman & Bodenfors, the flag design was a part of Oskar’s commencement venture whereas learning at Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm, Sweden.

“Centred within the flag, seven rings type a flower — a logo of life on Earth. The rings are linked to characterize how every little thing on our planet, immediately or not directly, is linked. The blue subject represents water, important for all times, and because the oceans cowl most of our planet’s floor.”
