Marking his first work in paris, japanese architect sou fujimoto has realized a monumental set up as a part of the small nomad home collection, set with the tuileries gardens. The floating volumes that comprise ‘many small cubes’ create ‘a brand new expertise of area, a rhythm of flickering shadows and lights just like the solar filtering by means of leafy timber’ fujimoto describes.
Aluminum cubes, hooked up to at least one one other by solely an edge or a nook, seemingly hover in mid-air as they rise above the panorama, forming a visually mild and aerial architectural piece.
