If ever there was a Gawker second, it was the Obama women smirking behind their father on the turkey pardon. Actually, Gawker coated the youngsters in true form. However that did not cease GOP staffer Elizabeth Lauten from taking to Fb, berating the women for not displaying any “class” and simply usually ranting, with somewhat latent racism thrown in.
If ever there was time for a social media scandal, it is over a 4-day vacation weekend. Individuals immediately took to Twitter and Fb to name for Lauten’s resignation, which has reportedly happened this morning. There are a couple of, somewhat superb, issues at play right here:
1) Inform Us How You Actually Really feel: Social media has all the time been a spot to rant. And Fb makes the error of asking us how we really feel once we replace our standing. When you feel racist, do not sort something. Should you really feel just a little misogynist, do not do it.
