Instagram revealed the winners of its Iconic Photo Contest, by which customers have been requested to create their very own takes on basic pictures.
Every winner will obtain a restricted-version Leica digital camera.
Instagram described the winners in an Instagram for Business blog post:
Our first winner, @caiovita, blew us away together with his reimagining of Annie Leibovitz‘s intimate portrait of John Lennon and Yoko Ono. It isn’t solely superbly accomplished however a poignant and succinct commentary on our occasions. Our second winner, @rajesh_photo‘s reinvention of Bernie Boston‘s iconic 1960’s “Flower Power” shot, manages to be humorous, unhappy and hopeful abruptly. And eventually, @pacificyo provides us a fantastic reimagining of Toni Frissell‘s haunting “Weeki Wachee spring.”
